To conserve, protect and improve the natural and managed environment of the River Arrow/Afon Arwy and its catchment (from Powys, Wales through Herefordshire, England) for the public benefit.
CATCHMENT RESTORATION
Work with partners, stakeholders and volunteers to identify issues and plan and deliver restoration projects to improve habitat, reduce flood risk, and make the river more resilient to climate change.
CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT
Work with nature, land managers, businesses and communities using a catchment-based approach to deliver sustainable, locally tailored solutions that benefit people and wildlife.
EDUCATION
Provide information to communities to increase understanding of the catchment habitats, and the need for conservation of such environments.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Promote connections, appreciation and enjoyment of the river and its catchment through volunteering and creative endeavours.
RESEARCH AND MONITORING
Initiate and support academic and citizen research to assess and monitor river systems, guide restoration, and influence environmental policy.
